DYNAMICS OF A RIGID WITH MANY POINTS SITUATED ON FIXED SURFACES BY A MULTIBODY APPROACH

Abstract

In this paper we develop a general method to study the motion of a rigid having several points situated on fixed surfaces. The approach is a multibody one, a great attention being paid to the determination of the matrix of constraints. The authors use the matrix form for the equation of motion, so that the method may be directly used for the numerical calculation. A numerical application highlights the main aspects.
